What this website collects, where your information goes when you fill out a form or give, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The short version. #
This website is mostly a place to read and watch. It has no sign-in, no forms of its own, and no analytics or advertising trackers. When you fill out a form, give, or text us, you're using a service the church works with, and that's where your information goes.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their marketing.
What we collect. #
Directly, almost nothing. This site doesn't ask for your name, email, or phone number, and it doesn't keep an account for you.
When your browser asks for a page, the services that host and deliver the site receive the standard technical details every website receives: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, and the time. We don't use these records to identify you. The hosts keep them under their own policies.
When you email or call us, we receive what you send us.
Forms and giving. #
Every form linked from this site, including Get Connected (which is also where prayer requests go), crews, baptism, and the Next Steps class, is a Church Center form. Church Center is part of Planning Center, the software Pinewood uses to keep track of people, groups, and events. When you fill one out, your answers go to Planning Center and to the Pinewood team, not to this website.
Online giving runs through Overflow and Church Center Giving. They handle your payment details under their own policies, and this website never sees them. Pinewood receives a record of your gift from them.
How we use it. #
We use what you share to do what you asked: pray for you, connect you with a crew, plan your baptism, send the weekly email, or follow up after a Sunday.
We may share information when the law requires it, or when someone's safety is at risk.
The services behind this site. #
These are the outside services this site uses. Each one handles information under its own privacy policy.
- Planning Center (Church Center): Every form on the site, Crews sign-ups, and Church Center Giving. Privacy policy
- Overflow: Online giving, including stock, crypto, and cash gifts. Privacy policy
- Lovable: Builds and hosts this website. Privacy policy
- Cloudflare: Runs the servers that deliver the site's pages. Privacy policy
- Google (YouTube, Calendar, Maps, Docs): Message videos and thumbnails, the calendar on the Calendar page, calendar reminder links, map links, and the PNWD Kids handbook. Privacy policy
The site also links to Instagram, TikTok, the PNWD Kids lessons on church-amazing.com (which you sign into with your phone number), our spiritual gifts assessment at pnwdgift.lovable.app, and our campaign site at build.pinewood.church. Once you follow a link off this site, that site's own policies apply.
Text messages. #
If you text a keyword to one of our numbers, we receive your mobile number and your messages. We use them only to reply and to send the texts you asked for.
We never sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only outside company that handles it is the service that delivers our texts.

Children. #
This site is written for adults. It doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and it has no forms of its own that a child could fill out. PNWD Kids check-in happens in person at the kids desk on Sunday, not through this site.
The PNWD Kids at-home lessons live on church-amazing.com, where a parent signs in with a phone number. That site has its own privacy policy.
If you think a child has sent us personal information, email hello@pinewood.church and we'll delete it.
Your choices. #
- You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. The site still works.
- You can clear what this site remembers in your browser with the button under Cookies and browser storage.
- Videos on the Baptism and Next Steps pages don't load until you press play.
- You can stop the weekly email with the unsubscribe link in the email, or by writing to us.
- You can reply STOP to any text from us.
Asking about your information. #
You can ask what information Pinewood has about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@pinewood.church and a person will help you.
Some records, like records of gifts, we may need to keep.
Changes to this policy. #
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
